Colin Worth

Colin received his B.S. in Physics from Haverford College, and his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Physics from Boston University. After receiving his Ph.D., Colin joined Photodetection Systems, a medical devices startup, where he worked on the improvement of PET reconstruction and data correction algorithms, and was instrumental in replacing the prototype processing and control software of a full-body PET scanner, with robust, high-speed C++ code running in real time on a twelve node parallel computing cluster. Two PET scanners achieved professional, market-ready levels of performance and reliability and were granted 510k certification by the FDA. Colin currently works with 8planes and as an independent contractor, developing apps for OS X and iPhone. His clients include Appswell, Localytics, Participatory Culture Foundation, and the makers of GPush.

Adam Duston

Adam is a thoughtful and meticulous practitioner of software design principles and enjoys furiously designing and writing useful software that is beautiful and well-organized. Adam founded langolab.com, and you can see more about his other projects at adamduston.com. Adam enjoys mastery of a number of technologies and programming languages, including Java, C#, Python, Erlang, Flex/Actionscript and, most recently, Objective-C. When he's not writing software, Adam enjoys applying his endless energy to physical exercise. Currently he can do 20 consecutive pull-ups and run 3 miles in 18 minutes, which would earn him a perfect score on the US Marines PFT.
